TasForage – The use of forage crops for winter finishing in Tasmanian grassfed systems

Are you growing forage crops for winter finishing in the coming season and want to have a closer look at how they are performing on your farm?

The TasForage project has been developed to take a closer look at the opportunities and challenges of filling the winter feed gap with forage crops in Tasmania. The project will deliver case studies focussing on the production and economic benefits of the crops, as well as a series of fact sheets to assist with decision making.

Doris has extensive experience in agricultural business development, resource management and R&D. She has a good understanding of agricultural production systems and supply chains. Her strengths are strategy and concept development, innovative thinking, problem solving, multi-disciplinary project management and communication on all levels with a broad range of people. Doris worked in public and private research, education, export and agribusinesses.
